Portugal and Spain will unveil their treasures along a unique cruise over the Douro. Discover Porto, a city full of charm where its heritage is perfectly combined with the modern, cosmopolitan and intimate at the same time. You will visit the charming city of Lamego where breath-taking landscapes of green hills offer an interesting change of scenery. You will also discover Guimarães and its fascinating stories that are reflected in the many monuments and historic buildings surrounding the town.

Day 2
Optional excursions: - CLASSIC package: Porto - FAMILY package: Tour Porto by tram and visit the Tramway Museum We'll begin our cruise to Peso da Régua this afternoon. Enjoy a free evening to explore Peso da Régua on your own.

Day 3
Optional CLASSIC package excursion: the Casa de Mateus and the Douro museum.We'll then spend the afternoon cruising to Vega de Terron.Enjoy an evening of flamenco entertainment on board.

Day 4
Optional excursions: - CLASSIC package: Salamanca - FAMILY package: Pool time in Salamanca Our ship will cruise to Barca d'Alva.

Day 5
This morning will be spent cruising. Join us on an optional excursion for both packages: Port Wine Route and Pinhão. Tonight's our gala dinner and evening.

Day 6
Optional CLASSIC package excursion: Lamego. We'll begin our cruise to Porto this afternoon. Enjoy an evening of fado entertainment on board.

Day 7
Enjoy a morning on your own in Porto. Optional excursions: - CLASSIC package: Guimarães - FAMILY package: World of Discoveries Enjoy an evening of traditional entertainment on board.

Day 8
Disembarkation.

Named after the famous Portuguese navigator who discovered the route to India, MS Vasco da Gama sails on the Douro. Passengers can admire the unique landscapes, sculpted by nature and shaped by man, along an enchanted valley where the famous port wine is produced. Completely renovated in 2014, this intimate-sized ship measues 75 meters long and 11.40 meters wide. It can accommodate 142 passengers in 71 cabins spread over three decks. The size of each cabin is between 11 m2 and 12.50 m2, offering amenities and providing guests with all the comforts they need during their stay. The majority of cabins are located on the upper deck and have large panoramic windows. Those on the middle and main decks have large windows. The decoration is stylish and its atmosphere, both elegant and friendly, and in perfect harmony with its surroundings. Located on the main deck, the restaurant offers a delicate cuisine in a refined setting, where large windows allow guests to fully enjoy the panorama. The lounge / bar with dance floor, located on the middle deck, welcomes passengers during evening entertainment. A swimming pool and comfortable sun loungers are provided on the sun deck, with a large shaded area, the ideal place to relax and admire the surrounding landscapes.
