We go first to Mossel Bay, a lively coastal town on South Africa’s Garden Route where you might glimpse whales and dolphins. Then it’s on to the beautiful beaches of Port Elizabeth (Gqeberha) and the wildlife-rich game reserves of East London. Stops in Durban and Richards Bay bring more chances to experience South Africa’s glorious coastal scenery and marine life before we cross into Mozambique to visit its capital, Maputo. Three sea days take us further up Africa’s east coast while you enjoy the comforts onboard, and then we arrive in Tanzania, calling at Dar es Salaam for a lively dose of art and culture, and the dreamy island of Zanzibar. Our final port of call is Mombasa in Kenya, which serves as the gateway to awe-inspiring safaris.
